***This is my story about what I think should've happened in the book "P.S. I Loathe You", by Lisi Harrison, when Dune and Layne were being mean to Massie, and Kristen just sort of stood there. All characters are from the Clique series by Lisi Harrison***

"Layne is Kristen's best friend." Dune said looking Massie straight in the eyes.

"Excuse me?" Massie said. She took a step closer to him to show that she wasn't scared.

"You didn't know?" Dune said with a laugh. He was enjoying this waaay too much.

Soon Layne joined in and Massie was glaring at Kristen. "You've been helping her get Dempsey haven't you?" Massie accused.

"Yup," Layne answered before Kristen could speak. Then Layne high-fived Dune. This was too much for Kristen, obviously Dune and Layne were not who they seemed to be. They were meaner than the Pretty Committee.

She suddenly found her voice. "Dune, Layne you should go." Kristen said, opening the door.

"You're choosing the OCDivas over us!" Dune said. He pointed at the picture of The Pretty Committee on the table.

"No, I'm choosing my best friends over you and Layne." Kristen folded her arms across her chest. "The Pretty Committee rocks and so does OCD, we're not as bad as you think we are."

"Whatever, I'm going to go wait out in the hall for Dempsey." Layne said, wheeling her get-well basket out of the condo.

"Um Dune are you clothes in my closet?" Massie asked.

"No, why?" Dune asked bewildered.

"Then why are you hanging?" She said. Massie and Kristen exchanged a giggle high-five.

"Okay when you little girls are done, I need to talk to Kristen." Dune said.

Kristen turned around and looked at Dune as if saying, 'Go on, but make it quick'.

"When you get my necklace out of your locker I'd like it back." Dune said.

"One second," Kristen said, pretending she had a text. Massie saw the blank screen and crinkled her brows in confusion.

"You'll never believe it. Layne says she has my-excuse me-your necklace. Why don't you go get it?" Kristen said with a sickingly sweet smile.

As Dune walked out the door Massie smirked. "Buh-bye Dune," She said with a wave. Then she shut the door in his surfer-tanned face. The girls looked at each other and burst out laughing.

They wiped the tears of laughter from their eyes. "I'm sorry for everything. Layne and Dune weren't like that at first. But I guess it's for the best." Kristen said.

"You deserve better then Dune. And next time make sure your boyfriend likes the Pretty Committee." Massie said.

"Ah-greed," Kristen said.

"Will you help me with Dempsey now?" Massie asked.

"Of course," Kristen replied. She pushed all crush thoughts of Dempsey out of her head and watched Massie enter Dempsey's condo and hand him her get-well basket. Kristen sighed as she shut the door; How could she possibly compete with an alpha for a boy?
