"Who are you?" the young water tribe girl asked. The blue masked man said nothing as usual. "Who?" she asked again, and still nothing.
"you would never like me, you hate who I am as I do" with that thought in mind he remembered a time when he was happy when things were normal, but as fast as it came it left "would it ever be normal?" he asked him self as he pulled out his had to the water bender who gently took it and sighed. She then wondered why did she always came to this very same spot every night just to meet a strange masked man by the name Blue Spirit, or so he wrote once on a tree with his swords.
Whatever the reason he was always there and would listen to anything she had to say. "Well duh he never talks" she thought as she moved closer to the man. Something about him made her safe.
"When did it start?" the young swordsman asked him self she was to be used as bait or something to lure the avatar to him, he was his last resort and hope to go back home even if he had been banished now...twice. The fire lord never welcomed him as a "war hero" like his sister had claimed. Hiding behind a false identify, behind a mask and swords he had found near a small river not so long ago, his mask and swords had returned to him. "It's not worth it" he thought as he signaled the girl to get up. "Should I choose good? Was I always bad?" he asked himself as the two walked around the dense forest grounds holding hands weakly.
"I'm leaving soon the Avatar needs a fire bending teacher" the water bender said, "this is the last time we meet" she said in a sad tone. He seemed so mysterious ever since she had found him injured and so healed him quite some time ago, yet she always came to see how he was. Perhaps that was why she always came, to see if he was doing alright. Later on her learned he was six-teen year old, well by writing the number down when she asked him on the floor. He had become like someone who was always there for her in a way.
Then softly she stopped walking and warped her arms around him, who he then flinched, unsure of what to do he slowly hugged back. The few seconds of that awkward embrace seemed a blissful eternity. "Good bye" she whispered, and left.
