I am Rosa Parks

I am Rosa Parks,

Not fierce like sharks.

Some people think I am wise,

I've never told any lies.

I fight for my rights, peaceful and calm,

Yet I was arrested and they took prints of my palm.

I am devoted to my work,

Attacking white people, they did lurk.

Helping people, it was my job,

Whites yelled at me, like a mob.

I now hope segregation is very soon over,

I know my wish will come true; I've got my four-leaf clover.
