The Best Birthday Gift Imaginable

Joseph (OC) and Emiko

Emiko's birthday was today and that was a big problem for Joseph. He loved his girl, but this was ridiculous. The Bazaar is tomorrow, and he has too much to do to be ready. Plus, he hasn't got a present for her. So, he went out to find something he could give her. "Hello Joseph. What are you doing today? Working to get everything together for tomorrow?" And that would be Marian. "Yes and no. I need to find a gift for my girlfriend. It's her birthday." Joseph told her. He wanted this to be special. Just then Raul came up from behind Marian. "Jewelry is always good." He said. "No! A good dish is the best." Marian said. Joseph knew none of those would work. "Thanks for the ideas." He said and walked away. Claude was on his way to work when Joseph stopped him. He would know a good idea on what to get a girl on her birthday. "Claude, I caught you. Can you tell me what a good gift is to give a girl on her birthday?" Joseph asked. "Well Joseph. I would say a salad or tea is best. But that is just my opinion." He said. "Well it definitely is better then what Felix or Wilber would say. Alcohol is the one thing they say is best for everything. And food sounds good." Joseph said. Claude laughed. "We all like different things. Nellie likes soup, Isaac likes bread, Stewart loves all pasta food, and both Ethel and Joan love fruit anything. Just as long as the gift is from the heart you should be fine." Joseph sighed. "She loves anything small. No fancy jewelry, no complex food, I just don't know." "Then something different. You do play right?" Claude asked. Or hinted. Then it hit him. Joseph had the best idea. "Thank you, Claude!" And Joseph ran home. All day he worked till almost night and finally seeing Emiko…"Joseph! How nice to…" "Emiko. Please don't say a word. I have a present for you and I want to play it." Without another word Joseph played his violin. The melody was so sweet and beautiful. Colors were flying out of the violin and showing the notes in the clear air. Emiko couldn't stop looking. Once Joseph finished Emiko clapped then hugged him. "Thank you. That was the most beautiful, colorful, and magical present ever." Joseph smiled before giving her a kiss. "Happy Birthday my sweet angel."

Hope you like this story. I'm not a huge fan of Emiko, she is hard to keep up with, but I wanted to do this story. I love this game and I don't own anything from it. Just Joseph. Thank you!
