The two came to a halt at a small apartment building, eyes stopping on each other. There was only a mere silence hesitation going over the both.
"I, Uhm, Had a wonderful night tonight, George" Kayli mumbled, looking down with a soft blush creeping along her cheeks.
George only chuckled under his breath, "I did too,' he said softly as the two stayed quiet for another moment or two.
"C-Could we do this again sometime?" Mumbled Kayli slightly under her breath as she looked up at George quickly, with a weak, yet determined smile. She was trying to calm her unsteady breath as he stared at the man who gave a soft smile of happiness.
"That sounds lovely," his voice sounded smooth and oh so soft, making Kayli's cheeks, which were pink a second ago, dark red.
Another silence.
"Well, I guess this is goodnight" Kayli said softly.
"...Wait..."
"Hmm?"
"Can I give you a.."
Kayli rose a brow at the other's hesitant question, heart racing as she had a feeling at what the other would say.
"Can I give you a goodbye kiss...E-Ehm, On the lips?"
Kayli's heart speed had grown too unbelievable.
She only nodded, staying put in the same spot she stood the whole time.
George just stared at the other for a moment, then took a step closer.
He slowly leaned in close, placing his soft lips along hers.
The kiss was only lips connecting, but it counted so much more.
Much much more.
George stepped even closer as his hands placed the side of Kayli's face, tilting his head as their lips interlocked even more.
The kiss was tender yet sweet, not too hard.
It was their first kiss after all, they didn't want it to flunk.
And of course it didn't.
After a moment later, George was the one to pull away, staring at her with eyes half lidded.
Kayli could only smiled ever so softly, giving off a flustered look as she felt his hands still along her face.
She moved her hand, pulling a strand from the other's eye as she gave a nervous chuckle under her own breath.
"Goodnight" George mumbled, placing another kiss along her lips.
