Last Kiss
A/N: I heard this song, and an evil plot bunny formed in my head. It's a truly sad song, Last kiss by Pearl Jam.
We were out on a date in my daddy's car
We hadn't driven very far
There in the road, up straight ahead
A car was stalled, the engine was dead
I still couldn't believe I was going out with Bones. After so many months, we were finally, officially, going out. I took her hand and led her to the SUV. We got onto the highway, and on our exit there was a car, but I didn't notice it because someone went passed me and beeped. I looked, only for a second, and then I turned back and saw it. The car was in the middle of the road, and I was going too fast to stop.
I couldn't stop, so I swerved to the right
I'll never forget the sound that night
The screamin' tires, the bustin' glass
The painful scream that I heard last.
I tried to avoid hitting the car, and instead swerved to the right, hitting the grind rail and smashing through it. We went into a forest and hit a tree not too far from the highway.
I felt pain in my body, and couldn't determine exactly where it hurt the most, but I didn't care. I heard the windshield break, but what tore my heart most was hearing Brennan scream "Booth!"
Her scream just kept playing through my head as I slowly became unconscious.

She's gone to heaven, so I got to be good
So I can see my baby when I leave this world.
When I woke up, the rain was pourin' down
There were people standing all around
Something warm rollin' through my eyes
But somehow I found my baby that night
I alowly blinked my eyes open. The first thing I noticed once the lights stopped being so bright was it was raining. Then I saw Hodgins and Zack standing around me. Hodgins was awake, while Zack was sleeping. When Hodgins saw me, he stood up and shook Zack once, waking him.
"How do you feel?" Hodgins asked, a little nervous and awkward.
"Horrible." Then I remembered what happened, and panic went through me. "Where's Bones?"
Neither answered, only looked guiltily across the hall. I saw Angela and Bones through the glass of the next room.
I stood up, tearing the iv out of my arm, and hurried across. I noticed I was only dressed in boxers and an undershirt, but I didn't care. I opened the door and went to her side. Angela stood up immediately.
I lifted her head, she looked at me and said
"Hold me darling just a little while."
I held her close, I kissed her our last kiss
I found the love that I knew I would miss
I looked at Bones as she blinked her eyes once, twice, and I lifted her head. She slowly turned to me.
"Seeley." She whispered, then started crying. It was almost as if she knew what was inevitable. But everyone had expected her to make it through.
"Hold me, please?" She asked. I pulled her to my chest and whispered back "Always."
But now she's gone, even though I hold her tight
I lost my love, my life that night.
Then she gasped and the monitor started beeping like crazy. I panicked as I saw she was flat lining. Doctors and nurses came in and I was pushed out of the way.
"Clear." The doctor said, and shocked her. When it didn't work, he said. "Charge to 300. Clear."
Still, it didn't work, and I was ushered out of the room. Five minutes later, a somber looking doctor came out and said. "I'm sorry."

So I can see my baby when I leave this world.
