I wanna dance with somebody
At Maddie's school there was a dance coming up and Maddie still didn't have a date. Maddie sat in the lobby of the Tipton, when London came up to her "What's wrong Maddie?" Maddie looked up and said "I don't have a date for the dance on Friday its 4 days away! and everyone has a date" "well why don't you ask somebody? Like someone in the Tipton" "maybe" London sat down next to Maddie "I have an idea!" Maddie looked at London and said " that's something you don't hear everyday" " why don't you ask Zack, he would go with you" "no I don't like him like that, besides he's 14 and I'm 17, its not right" "well I'm out of ideas good luck Maddie"
Soon it was the day before the dance and Maddie had still not got a date, she had everything else but a date and she was starting to think that maybe going with Zack was not a bad idea. Then Zack came over to her a said "Hey sweet thang!" "Hi Zack" said Maddie with a really sad tone. "What wrong Maddie?" "Its nothing" Maddie looked at the magazine in front of her. Then Maddie thought that no one was going to ask her, so she might as well ask Zack,i mean his better than nothing right? and we will just sit down though the whole thing anyway so why not? "Zack do you want to go to a dance with me tomorrow?"
Zack looked at Maddie and had a small smile on his face," you mean, like a date?" "Call it what you want, it will be at 7 tomorrow at my school and its just a disco really" "no I'll go! So tomorrow then?" Yeah, see you then" Maddie turned back to the magazine and though 'well this is going to be interesting night'.
The next night, Maddie was waiting in the lobby for Zack and it was 6:30,the elevator doors opened up to see Zack looking very well dressed for a disco, he was wearing dark baggy jeans a white T-shirt and a light blue shirt over it, Zack saw Maddie and said "wow you look great" he looked at her outfit which was light blue jeans, a pastel pink top which 'read cute but clever' and a grey jacket, her hair was down and she was wearing simple make-up ."Ready to go Zack?" "As ever" replied Zack.
When they got to the school they could hear music coming from the hall, the place was packed out with people. Maddie and Zack got some drinks and sat down at a table, "so, do you want to dance Maddie?" said Zack with hopeful eyes, "sure" Maddie giggled. They went to the dance floor and Maddie found that it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be, she really enjoyed dancing with Zack. They danced all night long and soon a slow song came on and Zack took Maddie's hand and brought them closer together, even tho Zack was 14, he was nearly as tall as Maddie so they were near enough the same height. And so they started to sway to the music. Maddie looked at Zack and smiled, zack also smiled as they both leaned in to kiss, then the music changed to a fast song and they both pulled apart blushing.
At the end of the night Zack and maddie walked back to Maddie's house and when they got there he walked her up to the door, "thank you for a great night Zack I'm really glad you came with me" "me too". Then Maddie leaned in and kissed Zack on the lips gently. When she pulled away they were both blushing, "well I'll see you tomorrow then" ya, see you tomorrow", "Zack are you sure you don't want me to walk you back to the hotel?" "Maddie the Tipton is just round the corner, I'll be fine" Zack leaned in and kissed her on the lips more deeply and then they both said goodbye and when Maddie closed the door she leaned on it and said to herself with a small smile "maybe there is hope for him after all"
Hey that was my first story! well on here lol i wrote this a few months ago and i know its not my best story, by far, but i just wanted to put up a short story first so tell me what you think.
