He wasn't gay. He wasn't, He couldn't be.
Aaron repeated these thoughts to himself over and again and then threw a fist at the wall in anger. It was no use. No matter what he did he couldn't forget, he couldn't forget about him. Adam fucking Barton. He had no idea what the hell this boy had done to him, why he couldn't stop thinking about him.
He tried to push the thoughts out of his head yet again, He had to.
A sigh of despair escaped Aaron's lips as he failed in his mission yet again.

Adam Barton rested his face in the palms of his hands and thought about what had happened that night. Aaron had tried to kiss him; his best mate had tried to kiss him. He was still slightly in shock. Adam thought about what to do now, should he tell Holly? Should he tell anyone? Was it really his business to tell? Aaron was his mate after all; he couldn't betray him like that. He decided he'd talk to Aaron about it tomorrow, to try and make some sense of just what the hell was going on.

As the sun peeked through the window Aaron realised he'd been sat at the kitchen table all night.
But that didn't bother him, because he'd figured out what to do, he was going to give all his attention to Holly. If he did that then all these thoughts would go away, right?
God he hoped so.

Adam had just fallen asleep when an image entered his mind.
It was him and Aaron in the car the previous night, Aaron was leaning in to kiss him, but this time instead of pulling away he let Aaron kiss him. He kissed him back.
And it was good.
Adam shot up suddenly and ran his hand through his hair. What was that all about?
Adam tried to find a sensible answer but his head was a mess, he couldn't think properly.
Eventually he settled on the idea that it was just because he had been thinking about it too much, it was still fresh in his head before he went to sleep, that was the only reason he had dreamt about kissing Aaron.
It had to be, right?
Adam laughed quietly to himself as he rested back on his pillow.
He wasn't gay, He wasn't, He couldn't be.
