He hated her.

He really did. The lying little... ugh.

There she was, as smug as ever, in this slinky red dress she had bought with his credit card.

But that wasn't why he was mad.

It wasn't why he hated her adorable little guts.

She was sitting there at the Valentines day party Sam was throwing at her place. She looked... gorgeous, but she always did, didn't she. And yeah, she was flirting... a lot.

But even that wasn't the reason he wanted to wring her pretty neck.

No, she had lied.

She had said she was done stealing.

No more thieving, knicking, zip.

He shouldn't be surprised... the saying does go once a thief always a thief, but he was.

She had shocked him a hell of a lot when she took this precious little artifact.

"Hello Darling," she said, plopping into his lap. He just glared at her, she picked the cherry out of her drink and put it between her teeth, rolling it across her tongue, "Well, whats got your panties in a twist?" she asked, staring unflinchingly back at him.

"You lied!" he said, she pulled the cherry stem out of her mouth.

"I did no such thing!" she exclaimed.

"Yes you did! You said you were done stealing!" he said.

"And I didn't steal anything," she said and then added, "Unless you count your credit card... but I gave that back!"

"I'm not mad about the stupid credit card," he said.

"Well then what are you talking about Daniel?" she said, running a hand down his side.

"You stole..." he started, stopping as her fingers crept under his shirt.

"Stole what?" she asked, curiosity creeping into her voice.

"My heart," he stated, she smiled.

"Oh that... well I can't honestly say I'm sorry about that little act of thievery."

"Well, you should be," he said, fighting the smile that threatened to ruin his performance.

"Would a kiss make it better?" she asked, her fingers tickling his sides.

He couldn't stop the grin that he flashed her, "It might help a bit."

She pressed her lips against his, wiping the smile off his face as he responded to her. What started as something chaste and innocent grew passionate fast as his tongue found its way into her mouth, his hands winding in her hair. Her hands wound their way around his back underneath his shirt as they ignored the stares the recieved... well truth be told they were to busy to notice the stares they recieved.

When the need for air finally out did their want for each other they broke apart, resting their foreheads together.

He smiled and whispered, "Thief."
