Laboratory 5, Ep. 8

"Oh my, looks like the pipsqueak's raring to go!"

Envy grinned at the wounded alchemist, face nearing to his panting figure in amusement. Edward narrowed his gold eyes.

"Don't call me a PIPSQUEAK!"

The homunculus merely gave a snicker and looked at him with flickering violet orbs. "A pipsqueak's a pipsqueak...right pipsqueak?" He asked daringly.

A sudden powerful kick directed at the sin's face made Envy lean back to extraordinary proportions. He only narrowly missed the boot by a couple of inches, and it clear he was still in shock over what happened.

As he was about to step back and start to protest against Ed's use of violence, he was rudely interrupted.

"OWWWWW OW,OW,OW,OW,OW!"

Edward screeched suddenly, retracting his leg from the air and cradling it firmly against his chest. He slid down the smooth wall surface.

"Oh GOD, CRAMP! CRAMP!"

In an instant, Envy's hysterical laughter filled the room. The laughing proved too much for him, as he doubled over still cackling, holding his arms to his abdomen as it was starting to burn. Lust's soon followed, then everyone else in the scene started laughing uproariously. Even the cameramen couldn't contain their snickers.

"Oh yea, laugh it up you assholes! It freaking hurts!" Ed moaned.

The director smiled as Envy started to melodramatically sob and gasp at the short alchemist's injury. "OH LAWD! Someone PLEASE!" He wailed obnoxiously, hugging the boy tightly while petting his hair like a some type of dog.

The noise of laughter only grew exponentially.

"Someone call this poor boy an ambulance!" Lust was almost on the floor, wiping tears from her eyes.

The director couldn't help but shake her head in amusement.

"Alright, alright, CUT!"

TAKE #2

"Alright, start off with Envy's last line!"

The director spoke over her megaphone in a loud authoritative voice, taking off her sunglasses and perching them on the top of her head.

"And...ACTION!"

"...A pipsqueak's a pipsqueak...right pipsqueak?" Envy's taunting voice rang in Ed's ears and this time he managed to kick to a perfection, without getting a horrible cramp.

The sin had a look of complete shock on his face at his foot sailed by, almost hitting his face. The look was so genuine, Ed was a bit impressed.

Damn, Envy's a real good actor.

But wait, he could see something else in those eyes.

Maybe...fear? What, why did Envy look afraid? That's just strange. He realized it too late. It wasn't fear.

It was panic.

"Woah, WOAH,!"Envy shouted out, eyes wide in that same emotion. The power of Ed's kick ended up being a bit TOO effective and the homunculus ended up toppling backwards in a not-too-graceful way.

He tried to avoid the contact his bottom was about to make with the ground, so he swiveled at the last moment, arms outstretched. Envy ended up breaking the fall with his hands, in a position somewhat of a push-up.

Immediately, the raucous laughter from the cast filled his eardrums.

He growled and gave Edward a mean glare. The alchemist had the decency to look at least a big guilty, even though HE was the one who was laughing the hardest.

"SHIT, sorry Envy, I guess I got too excited," Edward managed to say, trying not to grin while Envy was looking at him with daggers in his eyes.

"Huh, ya think?!"The other sin muttered. He crouched down to the sin and extended a hand to him. Again the director sighed with a smile on her face.

"CUT! "

yeah, strange I know. i just wondered...what if they had bloopers like all those tv shows and movies did? Now wouldn't THAT be fun to write! NOD WITH ME! :D
