The latest chapter made me think a little... And it turned into this...

They know that there is every chance that this could end in disaster.

They know that some of them may not return. They know that some of them may lost or wounded or mentally scarred. They know that the lives of possibly everyone in the country will never be the same after this.

But they continue on anyway. They watch as the first dragon flies over their heads, emerging from the Eclipse gate and taking to the skies, letting out an almighty roar that threatens to pierce through the very clouds it soars through. Below they tremble in fear and begin to ready themselves for the fight that is soon to come, however they do not know how long the battle will last before one side gives in and they do not know its outcome.

But they have determination on their side. They have the willpower to keep going and they have confidence in both their abilities and each other. For after all it's each other that they fight for. They may work to keep peace in the world and to save the lives of millions from chaos, but at the end of the day they get through it all just to go back to their nakama. After it all, they just want to drag their weary selves back to their guilds, back to their homes and their guildmates - their families - and stay together.

Staying together. They band together and fight together and make it through the unknown all together. It's because they are family. They have no one else besides each other.

And so they look up once more as the remaining beasts storm and soar into their world, casting dark, ominous shadows over the land and shattering the sky with their cries. They look up at the dragons with confidence. They will beat them. They have to.

With the weight of the world on their shoulders they head out. It's really true - lives depend on them. Theirs and many other futures depend on the result of the epic battle that is sure to commence.

They are fully aware that by the end of the day there is an equal chance of them being defeated or victorious. There is just as much of a chance that by the end of the day many of them will no longer walk upon the land which they struggle to save. They know this, but they must go forward if they are to have any chances of winning at all.

They are depending on every single mage to make the effort and do their best to vanquish the enemy. As guildmates they laugh together, they cry together, they help each other carry their own personal burdens and importantly they all fight together; as one force.

They head out, unsure of whether the path they take leads to the future they desire... or wether or not they will make it to the end of that path at all.
