Chapter 1: A Bad Start To A Good Thing

Twenty year old Trisha Blackwood is leaving the truck stop where she works as a waitress from 7 until 11 to help pay her way through Medical School along with her job at Target, which is from 6 A.M. to 2 P.M. Trisha, who has always been independent had been fiercely determined to make it on her own without any help from her adopted Mother, Stephanie Blackwood, who is in the midst of a battle with liver cancer,
Trisha stops walking to adjust her purse, after doing that, Trisha continued walking towards her parked 2016 blue Mazda 626, Trisha doesn't realize that she is being followed by a hooded man. Trisha reaches her car, and drops her keys, the hooded man pulled out a hatchet before running up and grabbing the blonde co-ed from behind and putting the deadly weapon to her throat.
"If you move or scream, I'll kill you right here," the man growled menacingly.
