SILVER: THE LONE RANGER'S HORSE
TEXAS-SOMETIME IN THE LATE NINETEENTH CENTURY-The white stallion walked carefully across the broad, grassy meadow. It was a warm sunny day outside. There were plenty of other wild horses all surrounding him.
Suddenly, these five, apache indian men jumped out of the bushes surrounding the meadow. The men all slowly and sneakily gathered around the shocked horse, all of them carrying bows and arrows. "This beast would make an excellent gift for the chief!" prided one of the men-beads of sweat dripping off of his reddish buckskin outfit. His long, flowing black hair falling to his shoulders. "Yes indeed," one of the other men said with glee. He was bare chested and wore only a deer skinned loincloth and moccasins.
The white horse leaped high into the air while neighing and took off at a fast gallop away from the apache men as fast as he could go! The five, wild looking apaches all ran after him across the meadow.
The huge white beast finally came to a raging river and the five men all gathered around him a circle and cornered him. "We have him now!" one men said to the other, "we will have him as a prize for the chief!"
The white stallion leaped straight across the raging waters from one side of the river to the other! The white stallion then continued his run through the grassy meadow!
The white horse ran for hours untill he was sure he'd his pursuers.
The white horse came to a strand of trees and just lay down in the grass.
A male grizzly bear walked past him in the distance, but the white horse paid him no mind.
A female coyote walked past him from behind him, but the gorgeous white horse ignored that carnivore as well
After resting in the grass under the tree for an hour or so the stallion slowly raised himself, and moved at a trot past a field of brightly coloured fowers.
