Amethyst walked out of the wrestling building (IDK what it's called) proudly. She had just lost, but she did with style. Steven followed her, beaming. "That was awesome!" He smiled to Amethyst, who was now shapeshifting back. "Yeah!" She agreed, stretching. "I'm going for a walk. Meet you back home." She said, giving Steven a two fingered salute. "See ya, Amethyst!" Steven said, walking back to the temple.
The next morning
Steven woke up, and Amethyst was on the couch, eating a sandwich. "Hey, Amethyst." Steven said groggily. "'Sup, Ste-man." Amethyst said. "So," Steven said. "Did you have a nice walk?" Amethyst froze. "Uh, yeah! Nice walk, nice walk." She quickly said. Steven stared at her questioningly. "Stop staring at me!" She said. Steven shrugged and went to go eat some pancakes.
Generic time period
Amethyst was barely ever at the temple anymore. She was almost always gone, and when she WAS at the temple, she was easily annoyed. "Gems." Garnet called. "We're having a meeting." "Should I call-" Steven started, before he was interrupted by Garnet. "No." "But you didn't even-" "Future vision." "Oh!" Steven sat on the couch with Garnet, while Pearl sat on the floor. "We need to talk about Amethyst." Garnet said. "Oh, yes! She's barely ever here, and the last few missions, we had to go without her!" Pearl scoffed. "What are we going to do?" Steven asked. "We will talk to her about it." Garnet answered. Then, Amethyst walked in the door. She saw everyone sitting together, and asked "What's going on..?" Then Garnet stood up. "Amethyst." She said. "Yeah?" Amethyst answered. "I notice you have been skipping missions lately." Garnet said, crossing her arms. Amethyst groaned, and rolled her eyes. "Ugh, I haven't even been gone for that long!" She yelled. "Amethyst, you missed the last three missions." Pearl added. "Ugh!" Amethyst groaned. She exited the house, slamming the door behind her.
"Amethyst!" Steven yelled, trying to run after her, but she was long gone. Steven fell onto his knees. "Amethyst..." He muttered. Pearl and Garnet came over, and put their arms around his shoulders. "She'll be back." Pearl said. Steven looked up at Pearl with snot and tears running down his face. "Really?" He asked. "Really." Pearl answered.
