A/N: Once upon a time I wrote a story called Black Family Ties, and it was shit. I was like thirteen when I wrote it, and it was problematic. So this is a revamped version with a similar plot and a similar main character, but other than that it is completely different. I hope that people will like this story as much as they liked the old one.

MY OC CHARACTERS
Nova Young-Black. The girl everyone thought would be in Slytherin. She is sly and cunning, but her intelligence stretches farther than either of her other traits. She is the classic Ravenclaw, always studying or with her nose in a book.
Guan-yin Chang. Cho's older sister. She was tall, in a model like fashion, not that she cared to be a model nor was she even the slightest into fashion. Guan-yin used her long limbs to her advantage as the keeper for the ravenclaw quidditch team.
Ellis Moon. A beautiful girl. She hadn't always been in the girls dorm, but a couple years back she came to realize just how uncomfortable she had felt in the boys dorm and was able to switch over into the dorm she felt that she should be in, and well if any of the other girls had had a problem with it they got over it when they realized just how much a sweetheart she was.
Millie Brown. With skin as dark as night and a strong hourglass figure, she was the gleam in every hogwarts male's eye, and even some of the females. If she wasn't fooling around in a broom closet, she was most likely lost in a book.
Catriona Mayes. Her fro was as wild as one would think it would be. Most of the time Cat could be seen hiding things in it for the fun of not knowing what she may pull out later. Her humor was a lot like that to, as one never knew what she may say next.
Tarquin Ambers. Alfie's younger brother, by like ten months. Also he is actually a slytherin, but with the amount of time he spends up in Ravenclaw Tower, no one would know that. He is good friends with Guan-yin as they are their houses respective Keepers.
Alfie Ambers. Chocolate skin and strong build. Alfie gets all the girls with his looks, and he keeps the girls with his soft animal loving heart. This boy is obsessed with his cat, talk to him for more than five minutes and you will soon understand that.
Ryosuke Aki. The resident space nerd. He loves his astronomy, and to be honest he is really great if you need help in that class. He spends most of his time up on the Astronomy Tower. He is the sweetest nerd who gets way too excited to talk about space. Also he is totally in a relationship with Catriona and it is the cutest thing ever.
Callum Boot. He is a total fuckboi, but don't let his flirtations fool you, he is probably the smartest person in his year. He may be the only Seventh Year to take NEWT level History of Magic. Of course his favorite way to pass time, besides studying, is to flirt with Millie.
