Getting the Email
In Virgil's point a view
It had been a busy day for us, we had been on missions back to back the last couple of days. To honest I was glad to get back to my room to check my emails. When I got this email it really surprised me, my high school days weren't the best and here I see an email inviting me to attend a high school reunion. The email also told me that I could bring a plus one with me.
To be honest, I really didn't know if I wanted to go as the only person who would have talked to me would have been my ex-girlfriend, what If she didn't turn up? And what would I say to here if she did? So, I went and told Dad about it, He did encourage me to go. I told Dad that I could bring a plus one, he said if I choose Scott then we need to be back here first thing in the morning. After I Had seen Dad, I went to have a word with my eldest brother.
"Hey Virg, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I just got an email asking me to go to a high school reunion, it also said that I could bring a plus one with me. So, I spoke to Dad and he said that you could come, if you want to? But there is a catch we need to be back here first thing in the morning, what do you think?"
"I guess it wouldn't do us any harm getting away for 24 hours, we have been busy and could do with the break. Who knows Virgil you might meet someone you know" said Scott with a smile. It didn't take us long to pack little did I know that night would change my life
