The side story began in a near future in the fall of 2027 where technology had advanced to the point where people can use mecha called Skells to create colonies, one day, an normal day at school named Khara Academy was preparing for a graduation ceremony next year stated that it will be the biggest party ever since 12 years ago with over 530 students. A guy named Hikaru Tomatsu, an 19-year-old senior student who was waiting for his classmate, Miyuki Aihara, an 18-year-old student who had long black hair and an beautiful figure, to see the next generation Skells. Hikaru told Miyuki that he wanted to show her that he wished he can become a pilot of those mecha to work in space and modify them. Miyuki stated that he needs to train more and understand the mechanics.
