Be Reasonable
Sophie/Sian

"Sian, You love me right?"
"What? Of course! Soph, what's wrong? I love you more than anything, you should know that."
"Then can we please, please, please get a dog?"
"A what?"
"A dog…"
"Yeah I heard the first time, are you mental?"
"No Sian, it's just… I've always wanted one but my parents never allowed me, and I told myself that once I moved out I would get one."
"Soph, I love you to bits but we can't get a dog. The flat isn't big enough and we don't even have a backyard."
"We don't need one. Please Sian, I'll take care of it, you don't have to move a finger, I'll feed him, walk him and clean his mess, all of it, I promise."
"I'm not your mother Sophie, you don't have to say all that, but we can't, there's no space."
"Let's move then."
"What? We have just rented this place and we can't afford to buy a house, we can barely afford this rent…"
"Sian…"
Sian could tears gathering around her girlfriend's eyes and it broke her heart but there was no way they could get a dog.
"Soph, babe, please be reasonable, we just can't right now… Maybe in a few years when I finish Uni and get a better paying job."
"I do work as well you know, we could save enough to buy a house!"
"That's what we did to get this flat!"
She noticed Sophie's eyes narrowing.
"Forget it Sian."
"Forget what?"
Sophie turned her back on Sian and walked to their bedroom.
"Leave me alone."
"What? Sophie!"
The door slammed and when Sian tried to open it she noticed it was locked.
"Sophie, open the door!"
A few seconds passed.
"Sophie!"
Still no response.
"My God, do you know how childish you're being right now?"
After a few moments of silence, Sian just gave up.
"Fine! Have it your way!"
She said as she gave the door a punch, then she turned her back against it and slid down to the floor. They stayed like that for what felt like hours but was just a few minutes. The door opened causing Sian to fall to the ground and look up at Sophie with tears streaming down her face. Sophie knelt down and supported herself with her hands on the floor on each side of Sian's head.
"I'm sorry…"
Sian just looked at her for a few seconds before answering.
"I'm sorry too Sophie, but sometimes you really wind me up…"
"I'm really sorry."
"Stop saying that."
"Please don't be mad at me Sian…"
Tears started to spill form Sophie's eyes and a few landed on her lover's cheeks.
"Soph…"
Sian reached the back of her girlfriend's head and pulled her down.
"I could never be mad at you, not for long anyway."
Sophie leaned down the rest of the way and kissed. They stayed like that for a few minutes, lips pressed, just kissing.
"I love you"
"I love you and all"
They smiled.
AN: Please not that this is first time I'm writing for a pairing that's not Hermione/Ginny, so please be gentle xD. Also, I know it's short and it might not be very good, but I decided to post anyway. Hope you guys enjoyed it ^^.
