*Clare's POV*
It was September 9 the anniversary of Eli and I. We have been dating for about a year and a half. We have never been better in this relationship, I love him and he loves me even thou we have ben to hell and back. That's all that matters right? Well I did find him cheating on me with the new girl Imogen, but in his defense we were not agreeing at the time and I did say that I wanted to take a brake from all this drama. But it still hurt a lot; to see him kiss that ugly tramp, it made me want to rip her goddamn head off! After that he got drunk and tried to rape me. However now I forgave him since I know that he loves me. It will be okay. Well, will it be okay? How will I ever know that he will never do that to me again? But I know for a fact that he would never do something to make me feel like I was just someone that he could have a one-night stand with. I think tonight is the night he finally ask me to marry him. I really hope it is.
I was soon taken out of my thoughts when Eli stopped Morty and went to open the door for me. I looked in to his beautiful green eyes and smiled warmly at him. I got out and asked "Eli what are we going to do?" He smirked and replied with a "oh it's a surprise, now you have to put this blindfold on. Okay?" At first I hesitated but I pushed it to the back of my head and nodded my head. He made sure that I could not see. Then did the cutest thing ever, I loved when he dose that to me. He picked me up bride style and carried me to a place that I have no idea is at. I sighed and asked Eli "where are you taking me?" I heard him laugh a little and said "Clare if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise now would it?" I put on the best pouting face that I could master and said, "Well can you at least tell me that you're not going to kill me?" He laughed once more and said something that sounded like "you have to leave NOW!" but he sounded angry as if someone was there and was going to mess up every thing that he had planed. After a few minutes of what sounded like someone walking Eli put me down on a blanket. I smiled and asked, "Can I take this blindfold off now?" He chuckled and said "not yet I just need to get something from Morty and then you can take the blindfold off okay? But you need to stay put or a car could hit you. I cannot stress this anymore just stay put!" and with that said he walked away. I couldn't help but feel nervous but if Eli told me to stay put and do not take my blindfold off it has to be very important. Out of nowhere I heard a car and someone screaming.
