Where in the world was Tommy? Of course he was going to be late for our date again. He was always late to our dates now. Why did he have to come late on Christmas Eve when we were going to spend the day together?
I rubbed my hands together watching the lights of the Christmas tree bounced off the caroler's bells. He was so going to get it. Leaving me here in the freezing snow, to wait for him was too much.
