Tanya Loves Candy

Major Tanya von Degurechaff and her second in command, Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov, were walking through the streets of the Republic, papers in hand, discussing potential strategies for upcoming attacks.

"I did read over your plan, Major, and while I think it can be very effective, I have some…concerns about it," Viktoriya explained, rather meekly as she could not look Tanya in her dark ocean blue eyes, which had slit into a glare.

:What do you mean by that, Serevryakov?" Tanya asked, offence lacing her voice, and sending a chill up Viktoriya's spine.

"Nothing is really wrong with it per say, but I'm worried about the front lines in your plan. They won't be able to defend themselves from any enemy attacks if they were to go right in front of battle lines like this," Viktoriya explained worriedly. Tanya looked at Viktoriya with a blank look on her face.

"Well, war sometimes causes casualty, and if they have to be the casualty…," Tanya responded, shrugging her shoulders in an uninterested manner.

"Major!" Viktoriya shrieked, shocked at her Commander's lack of care.

"Ugh, fine! If you want to, think of a way that they can be more protected," Tanya responded, rolling her eyes before noticing a candy shop across the street. While Viktoriya was looking over the plans to think of a solution, Tanya snuck away into the candy store with her eyes shining, and her mouth starting to form drool, thinking of all the different possibilities of decadent sweets she could find in the store.

Tanya walked around the store, grabbing handfuls of candy, and placing them in plastic bags. By the time she got to the cash register, she had two plastic bags stuffed to the brim with various candies of different shapes, sizes, colors, etc. She also had an unusual for her toothy smile on her face. The cashier wanted to ask her about the inordinate amount of candy, but knowing Tanya's reputation, he decided to be quiet, and ring her up. After a swipe of the army credit card, Tanya left the store, holding her two bags of candy as tightly as a sailor knot.

Lucky for her, due to Viktoriya's focus on Tanya's plan, she hadn't gotten very far from the candy store, so Tanya was able to jog back next to Viktoriya without her looking at Tanya. However, a couple of minutes later, Viktoriya looked over at Tanya to explain her new updates to her plan, but saw Tanya downing some gummy bears.

"Major, where did you get all that candy?" Viktoriya asked.

"I bought it," Tanya responded, still stuffing gummy bears into her mouth. Viktoriya tried to grab a couple of candies, but Tanya smacked her hand. "And what do you think you're doing, Serebryakov!?" Tanya exclaimed, pulling both of her candy bags behind her back.

"Look at all that candy you have!? You seriously can't give me one piece!?" Viktoriya countered, trying again to grab some candy.

"Well I brought the candy with MY money!" Tanya argued, moving away from Viktoriya.

"You just used the army credit card again, didn't you!?" Viktoriya countered, pointing an accusatory finger at her. Tanya looked down at the ground for a few moments. Tanya opened her mouth to respond, before she ran off in the other direction, with Viktoriya starting to run after her with the folders full of paper in her hands.
