But now, she's found a new reason.
From her Treehouse balcony, she could see Christmas lights for miles. Twinkling lights in white, red, green, and every color in between made her feel like she was floating through space. Seeing the illuminated likeness of the flora and fauna of the season contributed to that cosmic feeling.
It was truly magical.
"Numbuh 3!"
She turned around and saw Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 5 standing in her doorway. Numbuh 1 was carefully stepping over her beloved stuffed animals and stood behind his comrades a few seconds later. Even further back, she saw Numbuh 4 peeking past the curtain door to her room with a disapproving scowl on his face. She faintly heard him grumbling about something, but she wasn't about to let him ruin her festive mood.
"Are you ready to go to Numbuh 5's house?" Hoagie continued.
"Dad's making his famous Christmas cookies tonight." Abby said. "With the sprinkles, and the marshmallows, and the– d'aww… you know what I'm talking about." Her impression of her dad was met with chuckles from her teammates.
"Yeah, let's go!" Kuki said through her giggles.
