This is a story that I have had in my head for years so hope that you enjoy! Of course I am typing this in parts because it is long already and this is only the introduction. If I get enough feedback from people wanting me to continue I will but if not I will take the hint and just not finish the story I guess...
Aidan woke up to the sound of Ava throwing up every single drink from the night before. Aidan was feeling pretty lucky that his parents were gone for the week because this is exactly what they seemed to hate of Ava. He quickly went into my bathroom and took a wash cloth under the sink to wet it and came back to Ava. "Here you go. How are you feeling?" he asked. "How do I look to you Aidan?" Ava remarked as she threw up again. "Like I have always said, you should not drink so much besides I am only trying to help," Aidan replied half angry and half sorry for asking a somewhat stupid question. "Well maybe if you were half the boyfriend you should be you would have been there with me last night like I told you to!" Ava yelled back. Aidan looking as though he had just been slapped in the face turned to walk away and leave her there, but halfway to the door he turned to face her and said, "I am your boyfriend and I love you, but I am not your dog to drag around and tell me what to do ok? Just because thats how you treat everyone else does not mean you can treat me that way," as he slammed the door behind him leaving her to dwell in his words and in her own shame.
Aidan went downstairs to call Ava's mother and tell her what had happened, and as he began to dial the number a hand slammed down his hand along with the phone back into the phone's placeholder. Aidan flipped around to see Ava's older brother Kaleb beside him with his hand holding his down and said in a deep menicing voice," I'll take it from here Aidan."Aidan replied "How did you know Ava was here and..." Aidan looked at Kaleb then at the door then back to Kaleb," how did you get in?" Kaleb looked him dead in the eye with his face inching closer to Aidan's and said "Wouldn't you like to know." Aidan looked back at him and said, "Yeah I would. Unless you want to join your father in jail for trespassing." Kaleb rebounded by taking his hand off of Aidan's hand and throwing it at his neck and held it tightly and spoke to him in a threatening manner, "You watch what you say or I will end up in jail with my father for murder instead! Now where is Ava?" Kaleb asked while loosening his grip on Aidan's throat for him to speak. "In my room, third door on the left," Aidan said with a raspy voice. Kaleb's eyes locked with Aidan's as he mentioned the words "my room" that he asked Aidan, "What is she doing in YOUR room?" Aidan knew what Kaleb was thinking and so he replied "She stayed in my bed last night while I stayed in the chair watching over her."
With that Kaleb turned from Aidan and headed up the stairs to Aidan's room where they had both found the room to be empty and the window above Aidan's bed wide open with the wind blowing the curtains in and out of the window. "Where would she go? She thought she would be safer here than at home..." Kaleb trailed off and Aidan turned to face him and saw the thoughts running through his mind. Just as Aidan was about to say something he heard the police scanner in the other room giving a report. The report said that a girl about 16 with blonde hair and blue eyes was seen breaking and entering into a old, abandoned house and that she had fled the scene when she found police in the area...Kaleb and Aidan knew that the girl they were talking about was in fact Ava, and she was on the move...
