Author's Notes: Inspired by so many great PitchPearls out there, where 'Phantom' was never really 'Danny' at all. I sorta like the idea behind a possessive Phantom…Oh, and fair warning, the following drabble abuses italics FREQUENTLY.
STORY START:
Danny Phantom.
At first, it was just catchy.
Danny Phantom.
Something other than 'Inviso Bill' to be known as.
Danny Phantom.
He used to think it was all him. His powers, his muscles, his reflexes.
Danny…Fenton?
And then they split.
Danny…and…?
The bond was so strong after that.
Phantom.
He couldn't have ever guessed that he and him were two different beings.
Fenton.
He hadn't become a Halfa.
Phantom?
He'd nearly died that day.
Danny…
If it weren't for him, he would have been nothing more than another lost soul wandering through the Ghost Zone.
