A/N quick songfic for a song I am currently loving and couldn't resist writing a Sirius Black songfic to it :) Please read and review!

Song: Good Girl
Artist: Carrie Underwood

Disclaimer: I own neither the character Sirius Black, the location Hogwarts, or the song. All I own is my little story filling in the gaps :)

Hey good girl
With your head in the clouds
I bet you I can tell you what you're thinking about

He was the most eligible bachelor in their year. Hell, he was the most eligible bachelor in the whole of Hogwarts. Good looks? Check. Money? Check. He was every girl's dream guy. His only rival for this position was James Potter, but everyone knew James saw no one but Lily Evans and therefore any attempts to get with him would be futile. Sirius Black, however, had no such infatuation, so he was very much available. If you were to practice legilimens on virtually any girl in the school, you would find their minds filled with thoughts of a tall, handsome Marauder.

You'll see a good boy
Gonna give you the world
But he's gonna leave you crying
With your heart in the dirt

His lips are dripping honey
But he'll sting you like a bee

The trouble was, though, that Sirius Black knew all too well how irresistible the female population found him. He was not oblivious to their flirting, and delighted in responding to their attentions in an equally flirtatious manner. He was an expert when it came to charming them.

Sometimes he would date the girl he deemed worthiest of his affections, but very rarely would these relationships last longer than a few weeks before he dropped the poor girl, broke her heart, and moved on to the next one without so much as a backward glance.

So lock up all your loving
Go and throw away the key

Hey good girl
Get out while you can
I know you think you got a good man

Of course, rumours of his womanising ways spread around the entire student body, and even many of the staff were aware of these rumours, but that didn't stop every girl from hoping, praying, even, that she would be the exception. Even those who he had already broken the hearts of wished he would take them back. No one could resist him, even if they knew deep down that he would only hurt them, or even hurt them again.

Why, why you gotta be so blind?
Won't you open up your eyes?

No one could see beyond his looks to realise that he would never settle down, and that it was very unlikely he would ever stop playing with women and their hearts.

It's just a matter of time
'Til you find
He's no good, girl
No good for you
You better get to getting on your goodbye shoes
And go, go, go
Better listen to me
He's low, low, low
