Witchcraft Chapter 1 [intro

Voldomort's followers have recently destroyed Azkaban. They attacked at midnight with the help of some werewolves and 2 giants. The Aurorers were quickly wiped out, and all the prisoners set free. Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry has been closed. Harry Potter is hiding alone in Grimmauld Place hoping for a letter to come from Ron or Hermione. But more than anything he wants to see Ginny. He knows he can't, but even so, he still desperately wants to see Ginny. He hasn't heard from anyone in over a month except for Mad-Eye Moody. He knows that he has to stay alone to protect his friends. A tapping noise comes from the window; Harry cautiously goes to see what it is. "It's a letter from Hermione!" Harry exclaims. He quickly covers his mouth but it's too late. His yelling has woken up all of the now annoyed Black Family portraits. He runs to the kitchen and sits down to read the letter. It reads: Dear Harry, I'm very sorry that I have not written in such a long time but I'm absolutely overwhelmed. First Dumbledore was killed, then Azkaban was destroyed, and now I've heard that Hogwarts will not be opening for our Seventh Year! What do I have to look forward to anymore? I never get to see you, Ron is to busy practicing magic to even talk to anyone anymore, Fred and George may have to close their shop, and Ginny won't talk about anything except you. Promise me that you will try to come visit me, Harry. I know you want to keep us safe but one visit every so often couldn't hurt could it? Please come visit soon, we all miss you."

After a few moments, the screaming portraits finally snapped Harry back to reality. "All right all right already! Sorry! I didn't mean to wake you all up!" Harry yelled.

Harry pondered for a moment weather he should go visit or not. One visit couldn't hurt, could it?

Witchcraft Chapter Two:

The night that Harry received the letter from Hermione, Mad-Eye Moody had come to Grimmauld Place. He told Harry that he could look after the house until Harry returned from his visit. Smiling brightly, Harry ran to the hallway closet, grabbed his jacket, gloves, and of course his broom. He then ran out the door and nearly fell off of his broom for excitement to see Ron, Hermione, and most importantly, Ginny.

He had written Hermione a letter the night before he left. It read:

" Dear Hermione, I am coming to visit you tomorrow morning, well, by the time you get this letter I will already be on my way. Please don't tell anyone that I am coming. I want to surprise them."

As he was flying over London, it began to snow. Harry began to worry if this would become a heavy snowstorm. For if it was, he would have to turn around and wait until it ended to go visit Hermione and the Weasleys. But luckily the light snow remained just that, a light snow.

As he arrived at the Burrow, he tried to be very quiet, but it was of no use. Hedwig, who had followed him all the way there, began flying around the Burrow and hooting loudly. As he hovered over the ground about to land his broom, Ginny ran out the door of the Burrow and literally knocked Harry off of his broom when she tried to hug him.

"I'm guessing you're excited to see me," said Harry jokingly as he tried to get up.

Mrs. Weasly ran out the door saying," Ginny will you get off of Harry. You're going to strangle the poor boy."

"I'm sorry mother," Ginny said trying to re-fix her hair." I'm just so happy to see him, I couldn't control myself."

"Well that's no reason to knock him off his broom now is it?" Mrs. Weasly said laughing." Come on, let's get you two inside before you freeze out here."
