Hi to anyone who ever read this before and hello to anyone that's new so time for a bit of backstory I have a horrible habit of writing one maybe two chapters of a story or just randomly something on my mind and then forgetting about it or just not wanting to write about it again and I know of a lot of stories that I really like/love and they are slow to update or are just abandoned, one of the current stories I'm reading is why so blue by whenbooksfly101 it's really good you should check it out anyways back on topic, I really don't want to see a large or small community build up around something they love just to have the creator abandon them. (*cough* avail in starbound *cough* *cough*)
So I'm going to try my best to not do it with this story, starting with! A drumroll, please!
A plot... yep the most essential step to a story is the one I skip every time honestly might be why they die out so quickly and I don't find myself enjoying them another issue is I'm so negative about myself and so nervous about what others think that I let it get into my work and get to me so I'm just going to post each chapter and if you don't like it?
Good everyone gets to have their own opinion. I'm really just doing this with my spare time so I won't be updating a lot when school starts up and I don't really take writing at a serious thing just something to do on the side while I'm bored
pros: I have a lot of spare time right now so there will be a lot more updates.
: I have been thinking about it a lot and kinda know the general direction I wanna go in.
: Other good things.
: New weapons mainly from the fallout 4 modern firearms pack.
: New environment, timeline, story allowing me to be more open and free not locking me into a certain view of things and should hopefully improve the quality of the writing or my view on it.
Anyway sorry that's it's just this I think you get in trouble for only having an author note tho so I will give a small sneak peek into the start of the new story, however, it might not stay the same.
My eyes cracked open the sky slowing shedding its low orange, yellow, and red hues for darker blues, purples, and blacks some eager stars quickly jumping into the still lit sky I was overwhelmed and just sat there all sensation missing for how long I couldn't say, just that when I finally did start to feel the cold, gritty sand under the tears in my clothing it was enough to bring me back it was dark but light?
I thought that whatever had happened to me must've messed up my vision because I could still see oranges and reds in the distance taking another look I saw the source, a massive cargo ship in the distance on fire and slowly creeping into the waves I was most curious as to how it was still afloat but the rapidly cooling air was of more concern, I was slowly getting a headache as my thoughts all battled each other becoming an angry drone making it nearly impossible to prosses any thoughts at all the nearby landscape becoming little more than a blur I could make out a metal something in the distance my mind slowly going into autopilot and making the journey faster.
As I slowly sunk into my thoughts little flashes of memories popped up out of order,
going by so fast I couldn't make them out just when I thought I might've started to make something out I was rudely awakened by hitting the metal object I was walking towards weekly falling into the sand and rolling downhill a bit and just lying there details came evermore rapidly into focus and as I looked at it a name slowly worked its way into my head "Vertibird."
