"Come on, you can do it, Remus!"
"Just once, that's all..."
Remus Lupin looked around at the group behind him. They whispered their encouragement, knowing full well that if they did so, perhaps they could persuade him enough.
Remus looked back at the boys, who were still hissing and nodding. He seemed to really like them, and they were eager to become friends; this could be his one and only chance. But then there was the trouble he could get into...did it really balance all that well?
He decided not to think about it; eleven-year-old persistance was pushing him further and further into his daring side, and he looked back at the others and gave a short nod.
"Professor McGonagall!"
This was his cue. As the teacher turned her head, Remus let loose, showed his God-givens...mooned Professor McGonagall in front of the whole staff.
Laughter filled the room. One of the boys was one the floor, the others ran towards him.
"That was great!"
"Amazing!"
"...gotta try that some other time..."
Remus smiled nervously, but then was forced to run for it; Professor McGonagall and other members of the staff were rushing towards them, faces flushed with embarassment and anger.
Padfoot tore his way down the hall. Prongs dragged Wormtail up from off the floor and hurried behind. And last came Moony, laughing wildly, trying to keep his pants pulled up as he followed.
Interesting...was I high or something?
