Disclaimer: Not mine. I'm only borrowing the characters, playing with them and tossing them back to the series Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro. Wished I could keep Sasazuka and Yako, though.

Emotion

Demons don't have emotions.
Neuro is a demon.
Neuro doesn't have emotions.
(Why would he need those useless things?)

Humans are his slaves and playthings.
Yako is a human.
Yako is his slave.
(And his alone. Or so he wish.)

Yako is a good slave.
She listens to him and she fears him to an extent.
But not for long.
(Because he forgot one of the most important things of all.)

Some humans, although rare, are also his tools.
Sasazuka is a rare kind of human.
Sasazuka is his tool, a precious tool.
(And only just a tool. But he was wrong.)

Sasazuka is a good tool.
He reports to Neuro, does anything he wants and demands nothing in return.
But, yet again, not for long.
(He thought he knew everything of the human race, but he forgot.)

He never knew.
Never knew why they suddenly smelled like each other, why the slave just needed one glance of the tool to become beat red.
Never knew the laughs, the blushes, tears, the hidden glances, the secret touches.
(Or maybe he did, but never wanted to know.)

He didn't thought it was possible.
Didn't thought they could make a decent mystery.
A mystery that smelled like heaven itself.
But, of all things, they shouldn't be able at all of making it impossible for him to devour the mystery.
(And, for once, he wished he could understand human emotions.)
