A/N: An old poem I found today and I had to write something. Update on AL coming soon...

Disc.: Not mine, no money.

When you say you love me

When you say you love me

You did´t mean me

When you say you love me

You always think of him

When you say you love me

You don´t want to hurt me

When you say you love me

You always cry at night

When you say you love me

I´m going to let you fly

I´m standing in front of Rangeman LLC., and I´m about to do the most stupid thing in my life, I take a deep breath and enter the lobby.

"Ranger expects me." I say to the poor sob manning the desk. He nods and calls the control room. Less than two minutes later Tank steps out of the elevator and leads me wordless down the corridor into a spartan furnished room. A table, two chairs, no windows. Tank mentions to me to take a seat. I choose to remain standing.

"Ranger will be here shortly" he says and left, closing the door softly. Go figure that such a giant can be this gentle.

The door opens again and in steps Ranger Manoso, head to toe in black, armed to teeth even in his own secure building, his black hair pull back in a ponytail.

"Morelli" he greets me. His tone calm, his voice carefully modulated, his body seemingly at ease, his face void of every emotion if it weren´t for his eyes you would think I´m someone else and not the OTHER man. When you look closely you can see the anguish and pain and the longing for the woman we both love.

"Manoso" and without further ado I plunge right in. "I´m leaving town and I won´t come back. You are the one she loves and I know you love her, too. And as much as I love her I can´t give her what she needs. She is a wonderful woman and she deserves nothing but the best and that´s not me. Don´t mess the best thing that ever happened in your life up."

Without giving him a chance to reply I walk out of the room, out of Trenton, out of my past into a new life.

~Three years later~

Today I received a letter with a picture of a beautiful baby. The back side read:

Joseph Francis Manoso

Thank you

I smiled and turn to my wife to show her the picture.
