Five years after they won the war. Zuko is turning 20 and the hole gaanga is invited. Katara and Aang slip up along. Sokka and Suki are still together and the are engaged. Toph and Aang got together and have been dating for 3 years. They all show up but Katara showed up early and helped Zuko get ready. When they were done everyone showed up. Katara sees' Zuko and Mai and gets jealous. She leaves for the garden. Zuko tries to go after her but Mai holds him back.

Now lets begin our story

Happy birthday

"Wow I've never seen Katara so sad should I get check up on her" Zuko thought to himself. I get up and start to go after her but Mai stops me.

"Zuko where do you think your going" my girlfriend asked.

"To check up on Katara to see she's ok" I replied getting passed her.

Mai yelled at me " If you go to her I'm going to break up with you"

I kept walking and said " Goodbye" and with that Mai ran out crying.

When I came to the garden I looked all around for her. Just as I was about to give up hope I saw her by the pond. She was moving so swiftly and the water followed her. Katara looked so beautiful in the moonlight as she danced. Watching her I thought about what my uncle said about her. My uncle said that Katara would make a very good wife and that's when I found out that I loved her.

As she danced I saw tears falling down her cheeks and that's when I heard her say " Zuko can't you see that I'm the one who loves you not her"

My mouth fell open. Did she really say that? Yes she had to what else would she say. I walked out of the bushes and walked over to her put my hands around her waist. She turned and looked at me with her blue eyes and said " Zuko I love you"

" Katara I love you too" and with that said I kissed her.

We kissed and got lost in each other arms. After that we sat on the ground holding each other and talked about many things. We got so caught up talking we forgot about the party till Sokka found us and said cake time. We followed him to the house her holding me. As we walked in I stared at her and we sat down. I cut the cake and we enjoyed it sitting there talking to each other. When we were down Sokka yelled presents and brought them over to me. Katara sat right next to me and handed me my presents.

When she handed my hers I told come sit up on my lap. She did and I opened it. It was mask. My blue spirit mask. I was so surprised and also very happy. She saw I was happy and smiled the kissed me. Everyone awed except Toph who is blind. When that was done I said goodbye but asked Katara to stay and she said yes. We sat around the fire and talked. She fell asleep and I carried her to my bed and laid her in it. Then I got in, put my arms around her, and fell asleep listening to her breathing. This was the best birthday ever and I got my dream girl for the best birthday present ever.
