Anna sighs for what feels like the thousandth time as she continues to kick her legs over the arm of the chair she's currently sitting in.
Elsa smiles to herself as she keeps her focus on the paperwork in front of her, wanting to see just how long it will take before Anna actually says something rather than passively sigh exasperatedly every now and then.
The redhead shakes her head in frustration, not really accustomed to being quiet, she's used to being on her own and talking to anything really, but now that she actually has company, it's dawned on her that perhaps constant chatter isn't what is acceptable.
Elsa raises an eyebrow subtly as she notices Anna sit upright in her peripheral.
Anna leans forward in her seat and takes a breath and opens her mouth as if to say something but before she even manages to utter a complete word she thinks better of it and flops backwards, huffing slightly as a lock of hair lands in her face obscuring her vision.
Elsa looks up at her and tilts her head slightly, "Everything alright?"
Anna flicks her hair out of her face quickly and sits up just as fast, "Oh, oh yes, everything's fine!" She pauses and continues cautiously, "It's just that…well…if I were to say try and get you to talk to me instead of, oh I don't know, read those papers, how uh how would that go down?"
Elsa quirks an eyebrow, "Go down?"
Anna flushes brilliantly, "I-uh-ye-yes, how would you take that I mean."
The Queen puts down the papers and turns to properly face the princess now an even darker shade of red, "Well let's see shall we?" She stands up slowly and even starts making her way closer to Anna even slower, "If you were to in fact start a conversation with me, I would put down everything I have before me to give you my undivided attention, because," she pauses, at which point she is now standing right in front of Anna, and once she is certain the redhead isn't looking anywhere else she sinks down to her knees and carefully takes hold of both of her hands, "there is nothing, absolutely nothing, that is more important than you dearest."
Anna is certain that had she not been sitting down she would have buckled, as it is her knees feel like jelly and she's definitely swooning, "R-really?"
Elsa smiles at her, freeing one of her hands to caress the side of Anna's face, thumb stroking over a cluster of freckles on the apple of her cheek, "Really really."
Anna can't even begin to get a grip on her emotions, and suddenly she's throwing her arms around Elsa's neck and hugging her tightly to her, "I'd really, really, like if we could get out of this room please and just talk." She whispers the last word against Elsa's neck, still nervous to make this request aloud.
The blonde tightens her arms around her and nods her head, "Okay…okay, yes of course."
Anna grips her even tighter, "I still can't believe I'm not on the other side of doors anymore."
Elsa rubs her back, "Never dearest. Never again, I swear it."
