Day After Day
(In Kairi's POV)
Here on the Island
I wait day after day
hoping you'll come back
and take me away
away to those places
you stayed while gone
while you were there
I've been waiting so long
I can't remember your face
I can't remember your name
I can't remember the way
we played that old game
but I remember your smile
I can remember your laugh
Although your voice had been gone
quite a while
I miss you more and more
with each passing day
but it would be worth waiting
to hear you say:
I'm back again
and I'm here to stay
I'm not leaving anymore
whatever the reason may be for
It's been so long
that I've been gone
Since I've seen you smile
And there's just one thing
I just have to say:
I love you, kairi
and I promise we'll be together
day after day
