This is a re-write of the first chapter, including the only two good ones. Thanks to magebear7, darkfire649 and Sukiyakii for pointing out my ( many) mistakes.
Ike and Elincia: At the end of the war, Ike disappeared, leaving Soren in charge of the mercenary company. Every day that Ike was missing felt like hell to Elincia. One year later, Ike appeared and proposed to Elincia on the spot. Elincia agreed and they were married I year later. They had three children, twin boys named Greil and Renning and a daughter called Elena.
Zihark and Ilyana: After the war, Ilyana left the merchants and travelled with Zihark. Zihark wasn't exactly pleased, seeing how much Ilyana ate in a single sitting. Despite the circumstances, Zihark fell in love with Ilyana. Before they got married, Zihark re-joined the Greil mercenaries to help pay for food. Once they were married, they had a daughter. Thankfully, she did not have the same appetite as her mother.
Mist and Rolf: Mist and Rolf, both having longstanding crushes on each other during the war, finally admitted it one year later. They started dating and fell in love. After three years of dating, Rolf gave her a commitment ring because they were both under age. They got married 6 years later, with no objections from anyone. (They were scared of what would happen if they upset Rolf or Mist.)
Ranulf and Lethe: Lethe found herself falling blindly in love with the mischievous cat, Ranulf. When he finally gave it to her advances, he found himself falling for the tough-as-nails cat. Once they got married and had a child, the most common phrase any passbyer heard was " Catch our son Ranulf!"
