Lewis smiled at Wilbur as soon as he crawled into the window. "Hey, Wilbur. Nice to see-"

"So, I found this one tie, but then I realized we should probably match, so I thought I should see what tie you're wearing."

Lewis stared. "What?"

Wilbur huffed. "You know, for my prom. We're going together."

Lewis's eyebrows shot up. "Wait, we are? I don't remember agreeing to that."

The two stared blankly at each other.

Finally, Wilbur's eyes widened. "Shit. I knew I forgot to do something." He cleared his throat, a dark blush on his cheeks. "So, uh, Lewis, will you go to my prom with me?"

Lewis blinked. "I... I kind of have to go to junior prom with Franny. You know, ensure your existence?"

"Oh, please. How could you have so little faith in me? I'm going to pick you up the day before your junior prom, take you to my senior prom, bring you back, and then you can go to your junior prom with my mom."

"You know, out of context, that sounds all kinds of wrong."

"It's technically worse in context."

Lewis gave a bitter laugh. "Yeah, I guess it is." He sighed, slumping back in his chair. "Alright. Sure. I'll go with you."

Going with his future son to prom. That was... Going to be an experience.
