Kyoya held Kaoru as he cried into his chest.
"I hate him….." He sobbed. "That baka…." Hikaru had gone over to Haruhi's house for the fifth time in a row, leaving Kaoru alone at the host club every time. Luckily Kyoya almost always left the host club late and gave Kaoru a ride to his house every time he was left alone. Instead of taking him home like he usually did, Kyoya had taken him over to his own house, telling him that made no sense for him to go home when he could just stay at Kyoya's house for the weekend. And Hikaru couldn't say anything about it. If he didn't like it, then he shouldn't have left his baby brother alone in the first place. Now here they were, in Kyoya's bedroom and Kaoru was crying his eyes out. He rubbed Kaoru's back and told him that it would be alright. He didn't think he would do this for anyone else. Right now, he really hated Hikaru. He hated him just because he had made Kaoru cry. He didn't think he had ever felt so strongly about someone before. Except maybe Tamaki. He had broken up with Tamaki a few months ago. Needless to say, Tamaki had been heartbroken. Kyoya had been a little upset too, but had locked his feelings away as he had trained himself to do years ago. He wasn't completely sure what this feeling was though. It wasn't a feeling he had had while dating Tamaki. Kaoru had stopped crying.
"Kaoru," he began, and then he realized that Kaoru had fallen asleep. He smiled and laid Kaoru on the bed. He smoothed back his hair and kissed his forehead. "Good night Kaoru."
