Notes: This takes place after the movie, where Dr. Facilier is now spirited away and is scheming to escape his prison.

And so, he waited. Three years, three long years. And, in the beginning, he thought to himself, 'Facilier, it seems that you are stuck here for good. You were too much in debt and now you have paid the price. They have locked you away and threw away the key.' The former Shadowman soon began to accept his fate after this thought. He wasn't in hell and it definitely wasn't heaven. But it was bare and formless (it resembled a prairie), other souls would come and go, but he was usually alone. All alone. All alone, except for a pool of water that he'd use for scrying* from time to time.

What? He needed something to do. And so here he was, being a voyeur into the daily lives of the living. He saw an old woman steal an orange from a fruit cart located in some Middle Eastern country and blamed it on the man standing behind her, who was left with only five fingers and ten toes. And then, Facilier changed it to another location. And then another. Everything was routine, he'd do this everyday until it became dark, and then he waited for the 'sun' (or something like it) to rise so he start another day of doing the same exact thing he did the day before.

And so, it was on this day, that he had changed his scrying water to New Orleans, for nostalgia's sake. Nothing changed much Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen had two children -- both boys and Tiana's Palace was still open, boring. And then he saw it. His opportunity. There she was, all alone, like him. Her face smeared with mascara tears looking up to the sky, wishing, hoping.

"Friends, " he called, "I know I failed before. But this time, I won't even have to lift a finger."

The image of Charlotte LaBouff, staring dreamingly to the sky rippled and turned. His Friends obliged.

'Yes, this time, I'm going to get exactly what I...and my Friends want,' a smirk spread across his lips as a plan began to form in his mind.
