A girl sits down in a grassy field and stares off in the distance. 'Why must everyone I love leave?' She thinks to herself as her dark braided hair blows in the chilly wind. She sighs a shaky breath and starts singing:
"Deep in the meadow, under the willow"
"A bed of grass, a soft green pillow"
"Lay down your head, and close your sleepy eyes,"
"And when again they open the sun will rise"
Tears are now daring to fall as she sniffles to herself and starts singing again.
"Here it's safe, and here it's warm"
"Here the daisy's guard you from all harm"
"Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true"
"Here is the place, where I love you"
Her voice is now shaky and unsteady as she continues the lullaby.
"Deep in the meadow, hidden far away"
"A cloak of leaves, a moonbeam ray"
"Forget your woes and let your troubles lay"
"And when again it's morning they'll wash away"
Her tears start to flow softly and slowly as she remembers a sad moment from the other day. Although she wants to forget everything, she continues to sing, as if singing to a loved one.
"Here it's safe, and here it's warm"
"Here the daisies guard you from all harm"
"Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true"
"Here is the place where I..." The dark haired girl starts to cry as she says the last words:
"Love you..."
