A/N: So I'm clacking away at "Catching," and this snapshot bursts in my mind. And, of course, it won't leave me alone. Just general fluff and observation-type-stuff because I love my Kiba/Ino relationship more than anyone. This is really, super short and may end up being edited, since I typed this out in a half-hour. Enjoy!
~Breathless~
Kiba leaves her breathless.
Not just occasionally, but all the time and it has addicted her. There's that single moment when he hasn't seen her for a long time when he narrows his eyes and the corner of his mouth lifts, and she knows he's thinking dirty thoughts about her. At that moment, she thinks of those dirty thoughts too, and they excite her enough to pound her heart and to reach for him.
And after a particularly hard fuck, when she can't get space and doesn't want to because he radiates heat and feeling, that breathlessness feeds her, helps her survive without him on missions with her teammates, who can't figure out what the hell she and Kiba base their relationship on.
They don't know how he's seeped into her pores, into every single cell, and like photosynthesis, breeds life and determination inside her; how he's someone to stand up to her instead of giving in, giving in, giving in and calling her a damn pain in the ass. Those brash arguments they have wind her up, exciting her like she's never been.
When that first time he gazed at her, unafraid, eyes blazing with something her experience with frigid and mysterious Sasuke couldn't identify, it had stolen her breath right from her lungs. Always when he ran his hand over her, skin or otherwise, her breath hitched, caught, and she couldn't get it back.
He leaves her breathless when, out of the blue, he yanks her into a tight, possessive hug, kisses her like it's their last forever, and murmurs in her ear that he loves her.
Especially then, she's breathless.
A/N: I feel much better now. By the way, I tried a new technique called frictionless writing. I didn't obsess over many details and didn't edit to the nth degree. And...that felt kinda good. Maybe there will be more 'frictionless' writing in the future? =)
