Realign

Jacob had always loved Bella. Not like the wolves who just saw someone and then had their world realign suddenly. No, Jacob had always loved Bella, so perhaps this was to be expected. When they were riding those god-damned motorcycles and she fell, Jacob felt as if his world was about to collapse. As she opened her eyes he realised that he loved her. Bella must have felt the pull as well, because then she said,"You're kind of beautiful".
My world had never had to realign, she already was my entire world, and I loved her for it. Sam and the elders had always told the pack that imprinting was like gravity wasn't what held you down to the Earth anymore, that your imprint was instead. That it would happen when you looked into their eyes.
Bella was a mess. Fuck-ward had stolen her heart and then stomped on it and ripped it apart. She cried, whenever she came over. But for the most part, she just sat, staring, seeing something nobody else could see. She was getting straight As in class, but whenever I looked into her eyes my heart broke a little more. One day she brought over motorbikes. I fixed them, because I love her, even though it hurts to see her wasting away over the man she loves.
We were riding, and when she crashed my heart almost stopped beating. My world was collapsing around me until all I could see were the piles of smoking rubble around me.
I ran over to her, fearing the worst. I shouldn't have let her talk me into this. Her eyes were closed, and she whispered Edwards name under her breath. That hurt more than a thousand knives ever could. Her eyes fluttered open, and as I looked into her eyes, I knew I would love her forever.
