The Narrator turns his head looking at his friend asking trying to be the voice of reason in this chaos they've created "Have you stopped to consider what we're, what we've started is insane ?"
Tyler Durden shakes his head 'No' explaining to his friend "Insanity is repeating the same mistake over and over again expecting different results. Insanity is people having allowed the world to become what it has became. We are doing neither, we're going to see the world change in our life time man more then any other life time. Even if we have to tear it down brick by brick and rip out the very foundations of peoples illusions in the process"
"But isnt that in itself insane ?" The Narrator still doesn't understand asking "And what is it all for ?"
"To see a new world" answers Tyler in a whisper, Tyler gets a far off look in his eyes seeing something only he can see "To see a new world" Tyler says again in a whisper, out stretching his arm gesturing all around him "Look around, and tell me what do you see ?"
The Narrator slowly yet surly starting to understand asks "But what gives us the right ?"
Tyler sighs "When our fathers failed us, when our mothers failed us, when the government failed us, when they decided to let T.V. raise us, when they feed us that bullshit that 'Todays kids are tomorrow's future' thats what gives us the right, and we do have the fucking might !"
The Narrator nods his head in understanding not saying anything else.
Disclaimer: I do not own fight club, I do not own the book, I do not own the movie, not to mention I do not own any of the character's, & finally I just thoroughly enjoy the both of them.
