EAMES

She grit her teeth together tightly and hissed at him. "I cannot believe you just said that".

Head down he dared to glance sideways at her. "I know. I'm…I'm sorry…It's just.."

They kept walking, side by side with smiles plastered on their faces. She'd be damned if their audience knew how angry or bothered she was.

"After that performance…that little slip up, we're going to be the laughing stock. In front of all these people…" She shook her head slightly.

"Alex…"

"Oh no. No, No Bobby. You do not get a free pass on this one."

"I'm sure most people didn't even hear…"

She glanced over to Deakins. He was smirking, shaking his head and Logan looked like he wouldn't be able to contain himself much more."

"Just keep walking" She whispered harshly.

Bobby scratched the back of his neck and nodded at Jeffries and Daniels, who, were, as far as he could tell, also laughing. He hoped his partner didn't see that.

15 minutes earlier…

"Repeat after me…I Alexandra Caitlyn, take you Robert Owen to by my husband. To love honor and cherish, in sickness and in health, till death do us part"

"I do". She smiled softly up at him.

The priest turned to Bobby. "Repeat after me. I Robert Owen, take you Alexandra Caityln.."

Bobby smiled . "I Robert Owen, take you Eames…"

"Eames?..." The priest mouthed.

"Did you just call me "Eames"? Here? Now" She narrowed her eyes at him.

"Uh…No. I mean. Yes, I Robert Owen…." He started over again and carefully pronounced Alexandra Caitlyn. But it was too late. The damage was done. He looked down at his new wife who barely kissed him. He could hear the snickers and laughter from the audience. Lewis just stood next to him shaking his head. "Smooth, Bobby. Real smooth".

Alex's sister and brothers and father were covering their smiles with their hands. Oh…..God. He thought. Liz will never let Alex live this one down.

And, so, he knew, as they walked back down the aisle, this was one mistake he would have to pay for. The rest of his life.

He actually smiled at that thought.

A/N: I always got the feeling that Bobby calling her Eames all the time was kind of endearing.
