"Dean, what am Is supposed to do now? All of the fallen angels are out to kill me. Do you really expect me to sit here in this hotel room for the rest of my life?" Castiel said in a gravely voice. It had been a week or so since the angels fell, and Cas was hating this 'being human' thing. He had been carpooling along with Dean and Sam, traveling from motel to motel, since he can no longer transport. He sat down on Dean's unmade bed, twiddling his fingers. Dean had just gotten back from a fast food restaurant with loads of burgers and fries. He was setting everything out when he spoke. "Cas, why don't you make yourself useful and go tell Sam that dinner's ready." He blatantly said. Cas sighed, got up from the bed, and walked over to the bathroom. He knocked on the door and yelled, "Sam, dinner is ready!". A few seconds later, he heard the shower shut off. He turned around and walked over to the table where the pile of burgers sat. Dean put the rest of the fries down next to the burgers and sat down next to Castiel. There was a long moment of silence before Dean spoke. "Cas, why don't you start a collection?" Castiel lifted his head, looking at Dean with a confused look. "A collection?" Dean grabbed a burger, unwrapped it, and took a huge bite out of it. "Yeah, you know, where you collect a specific type of thing. Something that you think is important or interesting." Dean mumbled. It was hard for him to talk while he was chewing. Castiel grew curious. He liked that idea. "A collection...I'll think about it." Castiel said. He finally grabbed a burger and began eating. Sam opened the door to the bathroom, his towel still wrapped around his waist. He walked over and sat down across from Dean. He immediately grabbed 3 burgers and quickly shoveled them down. Castiel, excited about his new mission, spoke up. "Sam, guess what! Dean gave me a great idea! I'm going to start a collection!" Castiel said excitedly. Sam lifted his head and looked at Cas. He smiled, his mouth full of chewed burger. "That's cool!" he mumbled, "what are you going to collect?" Sam took another huge bite of his burger. Cas' face went from excitement to confusion. "I...I don't really know...I'll think of something." Cas replied. The three of them continued to eat until there was no food left. A few days had passed since Dean gave Cas the brilliant idea of collecting things. Sam found a case in Chicago, so they packed up and drove there. The 3 had just checked into a not so fancy motel just down the road from the supposed 'murder'. Sam unlocked the door, opened it, and walked in, Cas and Dean following behind. The three immediately threw all their crap onto the two beds. "Hey, I'm gonna hit the shower." Sam said, opening the bathroom door. "Kay, neat freak." Dean said, unzipping his suitcase. He began to unpack, when he noticed Castiel pulling a large container out of his duffle bag on the bed across from him. Dean looked at the container, confused. He couldn't make out what was in it... "Cas?" Castiel looked up. "Yes, Dean?" Dean pointed to the container. "What it that?" he asked. "It's my collection, Dean. I never thanked you for that great idea." he said, smiling. "Oh, okay. Sure, no problem." Dean replied. He began unpacking again, but then spoke once more. "Wait, what are you collecting?" he asked, looking back up at Castiel. Castiel slowly opened the plastic container. Dean's throat started to sting as he realized what was inside the tupperware: dozens of feathers. "They're feathers for my new wings."
