Rainy nights

Louie was sitting in a window watching rain fall. He wasn't quite certain why but he pretty much adored the smell of rain at night. He supposed he shouldn't stay up late for something as silly as rainfall but he didn't really care. He considered that the reason he liked night so much was because everyone else was asleep which meant no one was around to bother him. He could do what he wanted and not get judged for doing so.

It was then that he heard something. He moved away from the window and peaked into the kitchen.

"Webby?"

She jumped. He was slightly surprised by this but then again it was like the middle of the night.

"What are you doing up" He asked.

"Nothing" She said.

Louie could tell something was bothering her.

"What's wrong?" Louie asked.

"What do you mean? I'm fiiiine" Webby said.

"Webby, Sweet sweet naive Webby. You, Are a terrible liar" Louie said.

"I'm not lying" Webby groaned.

Louie lifted a eyebrow.

Webby sighed "I just had a bad dream alright? I'm fine"

"Do you wanna talk about it?" He asked.

He swore he saw Webby blush when he said that "N-not really"

"Well if you need me i'll be in the other room" He said making his way back to the window.

As much as he wished to know what was bothering her it would do no good to simply keep pressing the matter. He knew that if she wished to talk about it then she would come find him. A while later Webby sat down next to him.

"Soo" She said uncomfortable.

"So"

"I-uh-well I...Er" Webby said avoiding eye contact "I was wondering if I could ask you something"

"Of course you can" Louie said placing a hand on hers "Whats up?"

"Well I was wondering if…" She started. She placed her hands across her face and groaned "Nevermind its stupid"

"Come on Webs" Louie said "Just ask"

She looked him in the eyes then looked out the window "Can...can" She slammed her head against the windowsill "Why is this so hard"

"Just say what's on your mind" Louie said placing a hand on her shoulder.

Webby stared at the window and breathed "Can...a girl like a…another girl?" She asked the last part so quietly Louie barely even heard her.

"Of course" Louie said "Thinking of anyone in particular?" He asked.

Webby somehow managed to blush even harder than she had before which he honestly didn't think was possible before quickly responding "No!"

"Are you certain about that?"

"Yes!"

"If you say so" He said then got up "I'm gonna get something to eat. You in?" He asked.

"Yah!" She said jumping up.

"Well come on then. Night time don't last forever" he said.

A few minutes later the two where back at the window with a bag of chips.

"Hey Webs" He said.

"Yah?"

"I have a feeling she feels the same way"

"She does? Wait. How do you know who it is?" Webby asked.

"Webby how many girls do you know?"

She opened her mouth to respond but fell silent.

Louie chuckled "You see?"

Webby made a pouty face which caused him to laugh.
