Once upon a time , in land not so far away there lived a girl named Clare Edwards. She was a 16 year old girl that went to Degrassi community high school. She had a perfect family, a perfect sister and a perfect live.

Then her castle was attacked by a monster. A monster that scarred her life forever. Her live wasn't perfect anymore. Her parents were divorced, her sister was gone after being raped. At school things werent any better. Her first boyfriend has dumped her for the one person she thought was her friend.

After that, Clare had no hope. She thought her life was over and that no one will ever love her. But then her prince charming came and swept her off her feet. He wasn't the prince she had in mind but he loved her and she soon realized she loved him as well. His name was Elijah Goldworthy. He was the hearse driving-black wearing- sarcastic- emerald eyed guy that rescued her. He wasn't perfect either. He had a troubled past, worst than Clare. But they still loved each other. They fought constantly about the smallest things but in the end they'll make up and kiss. They weren't perfect and they weren't looking for perfect. They were happy the way they were.

But one day, things changed. Clare started to distance herself from Eli. She stopped acting like herself and didn't pay attention to the world around her very much. Eli was worried about her, but didn't know what was wrong. If he only knew that Clare was scared. She was scared of being hurt. She was scared that her and Eli will end up like her parents and they'll never be happy. She was scared because the memories from the past still haunted her.

See, she forgot to tell eli something very important during their relationship. She was raped after her sister left to Kenya. Her parents were fighting more and more and one day things got out of control with her father. One thing lead to another and soon later that night Clare had lost many things. Her virginity, the rest for her dad, and her self-respect. She felt like dirt and gross all over her body. No one will take away the ever be able to understand the pain she was in at that time. Not even Eli.

Now you tell me…does Clare deserve a happy ever after?
