A/N: So I got bored on the bus earlier, and began to have feels whilst listening to As If We Said Goodbye. And because I already desperately wish Blaine would go back to his pips, I bashed this one out in the space of the song, which is why it's so stupidly short. Enjoy anyway!

Blaine stood in the middle of crowded hallway, blazer clad students parting around him. He looked around at the familiar yet foreign surroundings. It had been a long time since he'd walked in these hallways, seen these walls. Yet, it felt like no time at all.

He felt like he belonged here, belonged in a way he didn't at McKinley. He realised now how blind and stupid he'd been. He wasn't cut out for McKinley...not without cut. This was his world, a world of blazers and money, where everyone embraced him like a long lost brother.

And he was loving it. At McKinley he was ignored. Kurt was the only person who'd really ever taken any notice of the dapper boy in the corner. But there was no Kurt anymore.

And so he found himself here. Dalton. Even the name was majestic. He'd longed for this hallways so many times over the past few weeks...it was almost unbelievable to him. But here he was. Back where he belonged, as though he'd never said goodbye to Dalton. Sure McKinley had given him some fantastic experiences, and he'd never have won a national championship without being there.

But Dalton was his home. The Warblers were his brothers. Just breathing in the air reminded him of past times. The atmosphere was completely different. He felt as though he could relax here, be whoever he wanted to be. And so with a fresh spring in his step, all thoughts of Kurt and McKinley pushed out of his mind, he headed to the common room, where, upon pushing open the door, he was gathered into a group hug, the Warblers embracing him like a brother.

As if they'd never said goodbye.

A/N: Reviews would be amazing, you lovely, lovely people.
