Neutral air.
What did this mean for Little Mac?
It meant a lot of things, such as weak damage output, a somewhat decent attack that could be connected with other attacks. But what did Little Mac's neutral air attack actually do?
Why, it made him an air fighter!
Little Mac pummeled Palutena off of Final Destination with a very happy smile, much to the goddess's horror. He punched her, over and over again, and by the time she was able to recover, Little Mac had already escaped by propelling himself upward, leaving the goddess to plummet to her defeat. Meanwhile, the Wii Fit Trainer stopped smashing Link's (volley)balls with volleyballs. She had a happy smile as well, much to the Hero of Time's horror, who felt too much pain to go on any further.
Right after the Wii Fit Trainer smashed Link off of the platform, however, she felt someone grab her from behind.
She paled.
It was Gimp Mac.
"Mac," she began, but was interrupted by Mac throwing her off of Final Destination. "Wait, you don't need to do th-"
But Gimp Mac didn't care. As long as he had neutral air, he would be an air fighter. Without any mercy, Mac jumped off of Final Destination as well, pummeling the Wii Fit Trainer down as well. As if to mock her attempts of escape, he pressed his foot against her head, safely reaching the platform.
And thus, Gimp Mac won.
After the match, Gimp Mac was greeted by all three of the fighters, who leapt out of a bush while he was walking around Skyloft for no particular reason.
But Gimp Mac was an air fighter. And the bush happened to be sitting on the edge of Skyloft.
Thus, Gimp Mac neutral air'd the three people off of Skyloft.
"Huh?" Link asked out loud as he felt Little Mac's weak, but somehow impactful punches pushing him down. "Wait, we're not in a Smash match right now, are we?"
"..."
Gimp Mac pummeled everyone down.
After three Smash Bros. contestants were found mortally wounded on top of Groose's body, which happened to coincidentally save everyone from sure death, Gimp Mac, who somehow avoided mortal injuries, was nominated as the best air fighter in Smash Brothers.
In other words, Mewtwo had been confirmed.
