Prologue
I walked from the studio just to get away from the guys, they were me mates but I needed time to me self. I wasn't happy, I was completely miserable and I wanted to be loved by someone other than me self. I found me self in front of a small coffee shop. There were four or five people, two of them getting ready to leave. I shivered, it was starting to get cold...which meant there was rain on its way. I wish I had brought my jacket but I didn't think it was gonna rain, frivolous me for not thinking that it wouldn't rain in London. The people getting ready to leave pushed me out of the way, "Get out of the middle of the side walk, son," one of them said. Everyone except a girl and the waiter were in the cafe.
The girl walked towards me, opened the door, and asked, "Are you lost?"
"Oh, no," I quickly answered, "I-I'm just taking a walk,"
"It's going to rain soon, that's why those rude people left, so they could be safe and snug in their homes. They were so self-centered, asking me why I was here and why I wear such short skirts but I ignored them. Would you like to come have some scones and tea? I can pay," the girl said kindly.
"I can pay for me self but I would like some tea. I'm John, John Lennon," I said introducing myself.
"I'm Lory, Loretta Modern," Bea told me
I walked in and saw how quaint and pleasant the cafe was, "Do you come here often Ms. Loretta?" I asked politely, me mates would laugh if they knew I could be proper.
"How do you know if I'm married or not?" Bea retorted playfully, "Yes, I do come here often, Desmond owns the cafe and I love coming here. He has the best pumpkin-blueberry scones ever. It might sound gross but it's not actually,"
"Are you married?" I asked.
"Maybe, maybe not," Lory said.
