If Josh Became A Spy Chapter 4:
We both looked at each other and started to laugh. Mom was talking on the phone vigorously with a Blackthorne headmaster. Than after a long hour-long phone call, mom hanged up with a sigh of relief. By the end of her call Josh and I had a plan.
Our plan was for Josh to invite me over to for lunch on sunny, day. We would start to talk about school. I'll talk about how much I adore boarding school. And how much extra- curriculum we get. (Hint-hint) Then he would start talking about how boring and easy school is for him. Also that he wants more experience before college. Like getting himself out there. (Hint-hint) If everything goes as planned, I would suggest him coming to a boarding school, Blackthorne. I would then leave all politely and graciously. Leaving his parents to think what to do. Giving the thumbs up to Josh when I believe this is going right on track. Or if worse comes to worse, I'll give him the thumbs down. Meaning better luck next time.
It sounded like good idea. At least for now.
Two days later I got a call from Josh inviting me over for lunch. And that were having pie. (Code for "its time") So when I got there all prim and proper, everything was calm. The plan started right on track. We talked about town, lunch, then school. The word Blackthorne came up and our mission was almost a success! Josh's parents looked VERY impressed. And almost, excited. After the long lunch, I left with a thumbs up. Not to mention, a smirk.
