Dipper stated at a blue book in his hands. It had a shiny golden piece of paper shaped like the big dipper. The fumes of smoke filled his nose. Yet again, Dipper was in a bus for another year in the town of Gravity Falls. Things had change since his last visit. For starters, the new Mr. Mystery was his friend, Soos, not his great uncle anymore. The Mystery Shack wasn't even owned by him anymore.

Mabel sat next to him. He couldn't possibly sleep, there was just too much on his mind. He just sat on the bus, looking out the window for that one and only sign he wanted to see, 'Welcome to Gravity Falls!'. This year he also felt sort of a difference about coming here. Last year, he wanted nothing to do with the small town. This year, he was eager to go.

Dipper decided to play a crossword. He was shuffling through his bag when a folded slip of paper fell out of his bag. He carefully unfolded the paper, unsure of what it was. Then, he realized it was the slip of paper from last year, with all the signatures from the friends he made in the town. The note said 'See you next summer!'. He couldn't believe he forgot the note. He slipped it back in his bag, and then opened his crossword book.

Dipper was into a good round, with only five words left, when he spotted the sign he's been waiting for. He quickly out the crossword book in his backpack and knocked Mabel awake.

"Mabel! Mabel! We're here!"

"Dipper, let me sleep!" She groaned, tired.

"Mabel!" Dipper said more seriously, hitting her harder.

"Fine!" She said, finally waking up, sleepily putting her things away.

Finally, a creak was heard when the bus came to a stop in front of the Mystery Shack. Outside was Grunkle Stan, Grunkle Ford, Soos, Wendy, Candy, and Grenda. Their faces turned to sudden excitement when the bus was in front of the shack. Dipper and Mabel, with Waddles, walked off the bus, their hands heavy with backpacks and suitcases. They have a not to the bus driver as he went off, then they ran off to greet their friends and family with a big hug.

"I missed you, dudes!"

"It felt like forever waiting for you to get here!"

"Hey kiddos!"

"It's great to see you again!"

The hug soon broke up, and Dipper and Mabel hsd tears of happiness in their eyes, knowing that they were lucky to be back in the small town. Gravity Falls was never a normal town, and it never would be. For Gravity Falls, anything could happen.

The gang went into the shack. Dipper and Ford went off, discussing nerdy things. Mabel and the rest went into the dining room, talking about Mabel's school year and how much they missed one another.

"Remember this?" Dipper asked his grunkle, pulling out the note with signtures.

"Oh course I do!" He said, grabbing the note. The note slipped from his hand, falling on the ground next to a blacklight.

Text on the back of the note glowed, showing the words 'We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when, oh I know we'll meet again some sunny day..." Ford and Dipper were left with shock of the note, knowing exactly who wrote it

Yes, that's a reference. I saw that in a comic and I thought it would fit. More chapters coming soon!
